
Our Mission
To gain and sustain the active support of America’s employers for the men and women serving in the Guard and Reserve by increasing awareness of federal and state laws, promoting compliance through education, recognizing supportive employers with an awards program, providing informal mediation services to resolve disputes related to an employee’s military service obligation, and aid Guard and Reservists in obtaining career employment opportunities.

Strategic Goals
1. Gain and sustain the support of all employers for the Guard and Reserve and the men and women who serve
2. Educate customers and stakeholders on federal and state laws applicable to persons serving in the Guard and Reserves
3. Advocate for Reserve Component employers to the Department of Defense
4. Maintain a relevant organization that efficiently executes ESGR’s programs and provides responsive services to our customers and stakeholders
5. Recruit, develop and maintain a corps of volunteers to meet all mission requirements
