2012 “Statement of Support” Challenge

The 2012 Statement of Support (SoS) Challenge is a joint initiative between Texas Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The primary purpose of this initiative is “to encourage employers to honor our nation’s Citizen Warriors by signing a Statement of Support.” For detailed information on the “SoS Challenge”, please click here.

The Statement of Support (SoS) program has been around since 1972, and certificates are signed by the current Secretary of Defense. In 2010 alone, over 58,000 Statements of Support were signed by American employers nationwide. Click here to view the actual Statement of Support certificate that will be sent to you for signature and display.

Say "Yes…I pledge my support to National Guard and Reserve service members" by completing and submitting the form below. Texas ESGR will send you a Statement of Support suitable for framing to the address you provide us.

Texas ESGR will also recognize the local Texas SHRM Chapters who have the highest participation rates. If you are a member of a local SHRM Chapter, please identify your Chapter below so they receive credit for your participation.
